Facebook is a big playground, that’s for sure, but you can’t take things too seriously there, and in the end you’re at the mercy of editors you don’t know and can’t get hold of. I’ve just experienced this myself: Facebook blocked my website for unknown reasons. Even Instagram noticed me the link to my site was banned.
So, while political discussions there are fun, and sometimes you simply want to challenge people, Facebook is the wrong place for serious debates. What are the consequences?
Unfortunately, I’ve neglected my website for a while. After my exit from local politics I didn’t know what to do with it. In future I will make it my premium place for in-depth articles and contributions, and I will share them on Twitter.
Facebook will be the place to stroll and go window shopping. I really don’t depend on them.
